The terrorist proxies of the West will launch a chemical attack soon according to American based corporate media as they prepare to manufacture consent for the US military to launch a full-scale assault.

The Russian government made a courtesy call to the US government to tell them they are going to launch an offensive against the reported last stronghold of Islamist extremist and apparently US troops are also in the area illegally occupying Syria. US President Donald Trump has hinted at withdrawing troops from Syria and the lost cause of the jihadist trying to overthrow Syria's secular government but has yet to do anything to remove forces. Since he has been gaslighted as Putin puppet by Democrats, will Trump sacrifice the lives of US soldiers to prove he isn't a Putin puppet as much as he is a puppet of warmongering neo-conservatives and the military-industrial complex?
Two days left in the organized strike by prisoners against prison slavery and I will keep pointing out the missing Black mainstream press when it comes to reporting on the #prisonstrike. The strike has received international coverage and interest from the foreign press but the Black US Press? The lack of coverage is unjustifiable and indicative of the Black press dissociated itself from grassroots movements and issues of utmost importance to the Black audience. A good example of their lack of interest in addition to the prison strike is the Colorada campaign to remove exceptions that allow for slavery and involuntary servitude in their constitution. The Black press failed to take notice of the event even though representatives from the NAACP, the ACLU and the AME Zion church in support of the efforts to eliminate slavery in Colorado.

Tonight I will have the pleasure of interviewing a family member who spent some time working in the People's Republic of China and she will join us tonight to discuss her experience. We will touch on issues of Chinese Culture, Racism and China's increasing presence in Africa. If you have questions be sure to get them in.
It is day number ten of the national prison strikes against slavery via the 13th Amendment which prescribes involuntary servitude and slavery as a punishment for crime by those "duly convicted". Articles are still being published and we will take a look at some of the news around this historic event in the annals of human rights movements.
If we have time, we will also get into some of the news stories of the day.

Tuesday Aug 28, 2018

Today is day eight of the historic prison strike against slavery practiced through the US prisons as stated by the 13th Amendment of the US constitutions. In addition for asking for prevailing wages for the work prisoners do, they are also asking for the rights of US citizen-slaves to be restored like voting rights, that the cruel punishment stop and the rights of all human beings as expressed in the Universal Declaration Of Human Rights that the United States government signed in 1948.
This and more news tonight.

Monday Aug 27, 2018

We are on day seven of the national prison strike against slavery in the United States and overall, news coverage has been more than expected with the story being given coverage by mainstream outlets in the United States and abroad. However, the Black Talk Media Project remains disappointed in the Black press and Black journalists who are underrepresented in informing their audiences and followers on social media. We oft hear complaints that Black people need to be in charge of telling their own stories and while the issue of slavery, the 13th Amendment and prisons should not be promoted in color-coded uncodified language as it affects everyone, you would expect the Black press to be at the forefront of reporting since it impacts their target demographic more than other groups.
Perhaps the blackout in the black press with lift with MSNBC host and civil rights activist Al Sharpton covering the story in a very competent way on his program Sunday. We shall see. We will listen to his segment and share some other prison strike-related media.
Senator John McCain died after stopping medical treatment for his brain tumor. Most of the coverage has been sanitized with liberal uses of the word "hero", "patriot", and oddly a "warrior for peace" according to Congressperson John Lewis. We will briefly address the propaganda of political politeness in the wake of one of the system cogs dying. This and more news tonight on BTR News.

Friday Aug 24, 2018

Tonight we will have a discussion about the Black outlets and those that target Black people with news and information that have censured news on their platforms concerning the nationwide prison strike organized by prisoners against slavery that is sanctioned by the States and the United States Constitution. Joining the broadcast on day four of the strikes will be Max Parthas, a modern abolitionist in the fight against this state-sanctioned modern slavery to discuss this monumental betrayal as Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. once said, "There comes a time when silence is a betrayal".
We will also discuss the efforts by some it seems to confuse the masses about abolitionism which has historically recognized as a movement to abolish slavery. We will take a look at an article for Black Agenda Report which seems to be among those hijacking the abolitionist narrative and attaching it to issues apart from slavery and throwing them all in the same pot.

A state supreme court has denied an appeal of a drug-dealing rapper who rapped about killing cops in a video posted online is not protected by the First Amendment of the US Consitution. However, it is ok to rap about killing "niggas" and date rapping "hoes". To discuss this topic we will speak with Kwabena Rasuli of Clear The Airwaves Project.
Federal prosecutors have reportedly granted immunity to David , the chief executive, and chairman of American Media Inc. who helped keep Trump's sexual encounters quiet during the 2016 campaign. This is connected to Trump's former attorney Michael Cohen plea deal with the Feds that he paid off a star Stormy Daniels on Trump's behalf at Trump's direction which would be a federal crime.
Trump's current attorney former federal prosecutor and NYC Mayor seems to be promoting an insurrection by Trump's base if he is impeached. He also called Cohen a liar even though Cohen has an audio tape of Trump discussing one of the payoffs.
Today marked Day 3 of the National Prison Strikes in the United States where among other things, prisoners are demanding an end to the slavery they are subjected to under the 13th Amendment of the US Constitution. While some celebrities and some mainstream news outlets have helped to promote the prison strikes and raise awareness on social media, I could not help but notice those who silent on the issue and as Dr. King said, "There comes a time when silence is betrayal".
